An integrated plan to build a sustainable, net zero future for the North East of Scotland.
Community & Coast Fund
We have established a community fund that will support local community projects that align with our six pillars. An initial £100,000 will be made available to local community projects in the pilot year with a commitment to further funding in future.
The fund will be delivered independently by ACVO, a longstanding organisation with a proven-track record of delivering positive impact for local communities. It will take applications from community groups in Torry and Cove. Informational sessions will be held by ACVO leading up to opening for submissions in late September 2024.
More information is available directly on the ACVO website.
You are invited to register your interest directly with ACVO, or by emailing community@etzltd.com to receive news about the fund as it becomes available.
ETZ Ltd supports a range of charities with a track-record of working with local people. Partnership projects align with the six pillars of the Community & Coast programme. To date, we have supported organisations with a focus on delivering wellbeing, resilience and pathways to success for young people.
Aberdeen Football Club Charity Trust through their School of Football programme works with young people in S1 and S2 at Lochside Academy. This year-long programme supports young people to achieve a positive transition into secondary, gain life skills and resilience through football. The programme aims to create effective, confident learners equipped to follow their career path of choice.
Denis Law Legacy Trust and their work on the Torry-based Cruyff Court Neale Cooper will be supported through their Streetsport programme with a coach and assistance for their volunteer programme to animate over 100 hours of free to access sessions and equipment right in the heart of the Torry community over the next year. With over 3500 participations expected annually by local kids at this session it’s going to be very popular and a highlight of young people’s week.
Sport Aberdeen’s Active Schools programme at both local primaries in Torry, providing opportunities for afterschool sport, physical activity, and play. The programme works with schools and community partners to engage in healthy activities on a weekly basis, with the importance of a child-centred, whole family approach at the core.
