Positioning North East Scotland as a global leader in energy excellence and pioneering technologies
The £420 million Aberdeen South Harbour expansion, completed in August 2023, is the largest marine infrastructure project in Trust Port history. With Port of Aberdeen’s vision to become the UK’s first net zero port by 2040, they offer world-class facilities and services at the heart of the nation’s energy transition efforts.
The expanded harbour has been designed to accommodate larger, wider and deeper ships and incorporates considerable heavy-lift, flexible laydown space and expansive project areas. This makes it an ideal port for space-intensive industries such as offshore renewables.
Aiming to lead the North Sea into a new era of maritime excellence, Peterhead Port Authority has extensive experience in servicing vessels for the subsea sector. Their Smith Quay has a 170 metre berth and a water depth of 10m CD. Peterhead Port is also home to 16,000m2 of working area, complemented by a further 32,000m2 in reclaimed land immediately to the west, all of which is ideally suited to both the offshore and onshore renewables sectors.
With diverse infrastructure, state-of-the-art facilities and operational flexibility, Peterhead is a port of choice for complex, high-volume requirements.
