Positioning North East Scotland as a global leader in energy excellence and pioneering technologies
ETZ Ltd's Challenge Fund supports high-growth potential companies across North East Scotland's energy sector enter the low-carbon and green energy industries. The Challenge Fund awards grant funding between £50k and £250k to accelerate innovation and market entry, support business growth, and create new jobs in the low-carbon and green energy markets. Applications can include new facilities, automation of equipment and existing infrastructure upgrades, including digital infrastructure.
Awards in the upper end of the range will only be considered if there is a particularly strong funding case. The fund primarily supports SMEs currently servicing the oil and gas energy area in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray transition to opportunities in the green energy market.
The challenge fund is led by ETZ Ltd and supported by the Scottish Government's Just Transition Fund.
